Household Dish Collector: Dad's Daily Expedition
Every morning, the cupboards are empty. The dishwasher is empty. Yet somehow, every plate, bowl, cup, and drinking glass in the house has disappeared.
Dad knows where they are.
On the nightstands. Under the beds. Behind the couch. On desks. In bedrooms belonging to people who apparently believe dishes return to the kitchen through some mysterious household migration process.
And so begins Dad's daily expedition.
Room by room. Surface by surface. Collecting evidence of meals long forgotten, muttering under his breath:
"These dishes don't make it to the dishwasher by themselves."
A statement he has repeated approximately 47,000 times. With absolutely no measurable improvement.
Dad may have retired from bussing tables decades ago.
Dad Approved because his family has yet to accept his resignation.
